Not much has been happening during the past week in Verbier. We had some sun and boring old but somewhat good snow.

Blahblah, shadows in Bruson.

It really is possible to get bored with this stuff. We want more snow and new terrain!

While aking for good snow, the carnival season began.

And in a moment of boredom, we decided to take a vacation from vacation and head south.

Genoa, the aquarium is pretty good. And food in the old town. Three star hotel room with three beds and a breakfast was about 80 €.

Monaco. Now we've seen it too. On our way back to Switzerland we drove through a foggy Limone where Jon Olsson is building one of his jumps, and skiing pow.

Back from south and not much has changed. Oh, Mardi Gras was going on but we didn't bother with it. Weather had warmed up. Le Chable is now a wet place, and snow below 2000 meters is pretty wet too. Did I mention that we need more snow?

With fresh legs heading towards a few coloirs in Champex Lac. We heard later in the pub that big boys call this area the number two.

Champex Lac couloir 30 minutes later. Tommi triggered the wind slab and we decided to call it a day. Quickly.

And this how Les Marecottes looked like today. After 1400 hours it started to snow pretty heavily. Hopefully it dumps more that the forecasted 10 cm. Some people are having much better luck with snow in Japan at the moment. Wish I was there now.
